What You’ll Do
- Immerse yourself in our existing tech stack and understand how everything connects
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that improves performance and user experience
- Redesign and rebuild systems to handle new use cases and future growth
- Develop new features that make AllEvents more powerful and intuitive
- Research and implement ways to make our platform faster, more reliable, and more secure
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to solve meaningful problems
- Build responsive, intuitive interfaces that work beautifully across devices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation that helps the team move fast
What you bring
- Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOP, and databases
- 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in building products (preferably in a product-based company or startup)
- Experience with PHP, JavaScript, and modern web development
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, caching, and search technologies (AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch = bonus points)
- Understanding of scalable architecture for data-heavy systems
- Curiosity and adaptability, you love learning new technologies and solving new challenges
- Clear communication, you can explain complex ideas simply and collaborate effortlessly
